Throwback Thursday: Metallica’s Acoustic Version of “Nothing Else Matters”

Not only is Metallica one of the worlds most popular bands they have continued to be for decades.

“Nothing Else Matters” is one of Metallica’s most famous and loved songs of all time and it has be covered by numerous artists of the years.

It was first released in the Summer of 1991 of the bands 5th album titled “The Black Album”. The album was a huge hit around the world and it reached #34 on the US Hot 100 chart. It  went onto crack the top 10 in Australia, UK,  Belgium, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland and The Netherlands.

This acoustic version was performed 20 years ago in 1997 and features some beautiful acoustic inter play between James Hetfield and fellow guitarist Kirk Hammett.
